I am writing this blog to share my simple daily experiences of staying abroad which somehow I didn't experience in India. I may be wrong that these experiences are not available in India but purely restricted to my experiences in India as a member of middle class family. I just have a simple dream to narrow down the gap of experiences in the shortest possible time. This is my simple and easy effort towards it !

    I am Surbhi from Delhi,India.....Its good to find an Indian here.....actually I want to know about the life in Herzo coz next month my brother is moving there and its his first visit,so I am little tensed as he doesn't know anybody there......can you tell me about the weather,accommodation etc...waiting for your reply,Surbhi......

    Hello Surbhi,

    I am happy to share details. First of all there is no need to get tensed. Herzo is cosmo town with people from more than 70 countries. Herzo is head quarters of 3 global companies Adidas, PUMA and INA. Siemens headquarters and famous University is also situated in the next town Erlangen. Easily more than 100+ Indian families work and stay here.

    Herzo is very nice town with very nice people. People chose to stay in three main places. Herzo, Erlangen and Nuremberg bigger towns in order. Public transportation between Nuremberg & Herzo takes about 1-1.5 hours and Erlangen & Herzo takes about 30 min. It is good to have a car if Nuremberg or Erlangen is chosen for accommodation
    Winter season ends by February. Temperature varies between -10 deg cel to + 10 deg cel. Any kind of weather is manageable as long as proper dressing is done. Dressing is always in layers hence better to options are more here.
    Most of the things are available in super markets.

    Indian Grocery can be ordered from website
    http://www.get-grocery.com/ . So there is no question of missing Indian Food.

    Many good Indian restaurants are also available in Erlangen and Nuremberg. I wish your brother all the best !

    Thanks for giving the useful information......my brother will be staying in Herzo only.As the company is not providing any accommodation so he has to search it himself. Can you tell something about the procedure or the best possible option to take a rented apartment or any other option if available there......
